Course Outline
Interpow's Learning the Internet is a hands on course for
beginners. It is designed to teach you the skills necessary to
navigate the Internet with ease, how to facilitate the Internet
as a tool for obtaining information, and how to communicate with
others using a variety of methods. Topics include using a browser,
surfing the Internet, using search engines effectively,
configuring your computer to the Internet, using
E-mail, creating web pages, and using telnet.
Individual attention will be administered in a small classroom setting.
Emphasis is on using the Windows 98 platform. Classes are
2 1/2 hours in length and will be from 6:00pm - 8:30pm.
